The Eagle County Community Resilience Plan was developed by community experts, County partners, and County staff. Over the period of 12 months, a technical working group composed of more than 30 natural resource, economy, energy, and health experts helped identify key climate concerns and resilience strategies designed to address these concerns.

Organizations represented include Mountain Recreation, the Town of Vail, Holy Cross Energy, Vail Resorts, Rocky Mountain Institute, Eagle River Water and Sanitation, Our Community Foundation, the Town of Eagle, the Town of Minturn, the Town of Avon, Eagle River Watershed Council, Eagle County Public Health and Environment, Walking Mountains Science Center, Roaring Fork Conservancy, Eagle Valley Behavioral Health Initiative, the Town of Basalt, YouthPower365, the US Forest Service, the State of Colorado, Vail Valley Partnerships, Eagle County Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), Eagle County Sheriff, and the Mobile Intercultural Resource Alliance/Neighborhood Navigators.

Photos and image credits: a huge thank you to Jack Affleck, Jon Stavney, Ken Nager, and Justin Patrick who provided the photos and images of the plan.
